Birthday

Wednesday Oct. 18th was my 32nd B-day.

It's kinda weird to be thirtysomething, even though I really don't feel all that old. Janalynn planned a sorta-surprise party in which most of my friends came to. Those in attendance were Matt and Erin Smith(Taylor and Zach), Jared and Tara Covili (Kennedy and Alex), Paul and Erin Matthews(our new neighbors), and TJ and Diana Barker (Too many to list, plus I can 't remember). I knew there was a party but I didn't know who was coming. We ate pizza and played games. It was good to have everyone over. The party was Ute themed, and despite the U sucking of late (that's a whole other post) it was a good time. I got a new Ute blanket, pillows, and hoody.

Apparently all that wasn't enough for Janalynn. Friday when I got to my car there was a note attached. I really didn't know what the heck it was other than it told me to hurry home, I did and received another envelope. #2 was there with a poetic hint to go to my Aunt Lorna's home. There I got #3 which told me to go to Burger Stop. I was a little uncertain at this juncture, cause I really didn't want to go in and bring undue attention to myself, so I just asked if there was an envelope for me, the gal gave it to me, which led me to #4 the library, #5 was across the street at Layton High in the bleachers, and then finally I ended up at Holiday Inn by the mall. It was a clever cool way to get me there. Janalynn knows the kinda stuff I like. We had dinner at Red Lobster. I had all you can eat shrimp, not really my fav, but it was fine. We watched the premiere of The Prestige. Here is my plug, it is not great film, just good 3 0f 4 stars, but it is intriuging and thought provoking. One of those maybe I'd better watch it again shows. The acting was superb, plot well done. Go see it and then tell me what you think.

In all a memorable birthday. Good times abound.
