I realize since getting the job at All Star Striping that I have not been as dilligent in writing, I've been a lot more tired and haven't had hours of doing nothing like before. We are going to catch up though.

Tuesday was Porter's 4th Birthday.
He got this Spiderman Web Flinger and shot everyone with the watergun part. The dogs don't like Porter and the rest of us are annoyed. BTW, he picked out this present. He also got this nerf-like rocket that he shot everyone with. And yes the dogs hated that too. In the evening we went to the fireworks at Granite. I will say that this year was the worst year I can remember. The music was bad and the finale absolutey sucked. Last year was maybe the best ever. This year was forgettable.

Of note: There were a few of these blow up siides and bouncers, but it was $1 dollar per time. Whoa! The people running it were a couple of ten year old girls, Porter and Natalie did their paid slide and then kept going on and on and the girls just let them. Porter went close to ten times and never waited in line, he just rushed the front and went up. Natalie faired nearly as well, she waited in line though.

Wednesday was the fourth. We went to the Rosensteins in the evening. Lorna and Grandma Lawler weren't there, they were at the hospital; Grandma is having an operation. We had hotdogs(good ones-Hebrew Nationals) and really good burgers. It was a relaxing night spend in conversation and ping pong. Bill and I beat Daniel and Team Curl. Daniel is going to So. Virginia which is a copycat of BYU but smaller. Incidentally our old asst. principal Mike Smith is the AD and he recruited Daniel. That was a interesting connection. We watched fireworks at this school. It was pretty good, except Natalie lost her bow on the playground and freaked out, I missed the finale(which just from the sound of it was way better than Granites) helping her look for it. Alas it was not found.
