This is a week late, but I need to get it in. We had a cake decorating night for mutual. Let me add that the cakes were cooked beforehand, the only task was to decorate. The kids were divided into groups, except the deacons, none of the girls would team up with them. This was a fun event, with of course the added bonus of candy galore. The candy was to decorate with, but I think more was eaten then put on the cakes. It almost felt like Halloween. Yeah it was that good. I teamed with a few priests and laurels and suggested that to win we should bribe the judges, bishopric, so they made a likeness of the bishop on the cake. It was goofy, but worked. Most of the time the group fought over the frosting, they downed an entire container of chocolate that never did make it on the cakes.
Nothing beat the deacons. Since they had no girls to guide them they just shoved as much candy as they could on their cake. In fact there may very well have been as much candy in the cake as on it. If you took a pic of each cake and the groups this would have been the easiest match.
