Bonnie Kennington Ekins 1975 ~ 2008 Our mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, favorite aunt and friend to all, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior after a tragic automobile accident on March 15, 2008.Bonnie was born May 1, 1975 to Reed and Janet Wheeler Kennington in West Valley City, Utah. She was a Hunter High School graduate and worked as a dental hygienist at Mountain View Dental Care. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bonnie was a very dedicated and loving mother to her two young boys - they were her pride and joy! She loved her family and was always there to help out when needed. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a great story teller and with her quick wit and keen sense of humor made everyone around her chuckle. We will miss her infectious laugh! To know her is to love her. Survived by her parents; sons: Tyler and Colby Ekins; their father, Shane Ekins; grandmother, Velma Wheeler; brothers and sisters: Susan (Tom) Ayres, Annette Heath, Rob (Stacey) Kennington, Janalynn (Jared) Fawson, Rick (Lisa) Kennington; 11 nephews; five nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Hunter 15th Ward, 5000 W. Pavant Avenue (3710 S). A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
