EMail of the year

Janalynn will email me to let me know if I need to know something while I am at work. I usually don't answer the phone but I do check the email at least once a class. This email was sent to me today. I had to smile as I read it, and was glad I was at work. It is my favorite email of the year:

Your Son has peed into his squirt gun and started shooting his squirt gun at Natalie and Kelsey out side. I don' t know what to do with him. I purchased our Lagoon Passes today.
Kailey did her chores and is now at Kelsie Hair's house. Kelsey is doing her chores now. (She has been on the phone for 1 hour now!) I told her it is her responsibility to find out where Ellie is getting out and fix it.
Natalie is of course whiney, and both Natalie and Porter refuse to clean their rooms. I told them they are not to play at all today if they don't clean them. They are trying to climb the apple tree right now.
I have terrible heart burn. And I'm doing the laundry.

Trey got shot in the eye with Nick's Air gun last night and spent most the night in the emergency room. He has to be in bed for 5 days to see if the eye will heal on it's own or if they will need to do surgery. He has to put in 4 different eye drops in 2x a day. Crazy huh!!!

Now I know I would have been mad about Porter and the gun if I would have been home, but since I was at work I chuckled. Janalynn told me she threw the gun away.

A few minutes later I got this email:

Your son just cut off his bangs! I give up! I can't multi-task. Do you want me to watch the kids, or do house work?

Apparently when he messes around and I am not home he is my son, not just Porter.

Gotta love that kid
