Wanna get Stoned?

There is so much I could say right now. I realize I haven't done my due diligence like I said I would and that is partly why I have so much to say. I am not gonna go through each day like I did before, I am just gonna hit the main points, starting with of course the headline:

On my day off, due to staying way too long in the school Tues&Wed, I was cleaning the house. I might add the sinks had been slow to drain so I cleaned out the traps in the bathroom. That is a gross job. Probably the most disgusting smell there is, plus you gotta get out all the hair/mucus/gross stuff. Needless to say I am glad that task has been completed. At around 2:30 I felt this pain, a pain unlike any other. At first I thought it was bad gas, yes I had chili again, thanks Stacey. However, it persisted and no matter what I did it caused discomfort. It was in my lower back, right below the back of my rib cage. It was a pain unlike any other. Being somewhat of a tough guy, or at least a wannabe, I dealt with it. The pain lessened some and I lay down. Then after about a half hour BANG, it came back with a veneagance, so much so that Janalynn drove me to Instacare. The drive was nearly unbearable, I have no idea what giving birth is like, it still is amazing where the baby comes out, but this has to be close.

When we got to Instacare the pain subsided, so much so I was ready to go home, however when they called my name I went back. Doctor Tyler Dixon is a great guy. You never what you are going to get at the Instacare, Doc Dixon had a comforting, congenial presence about him. He explained it was one of three things, we would know for sure after a urine analysis. After the analysis, he proclaimed it was a kidney stone. Crap. This is one thing I never ever wanted to experience, kinda like the whole child birth thing. My dad had a problem with this, and this is one area I never wanted to follow in his steps. Clay Brcko, a good friend, who I taught with at Benchmark, told me how he bad it sucked. He drank a lot of water, ate a lot of veggies, just so he wouldn't have to experience the pain again. From that talk I have tried to drink a lot, apparently either not enough, or it wasn't gonna matter. As of this morning while I am writing this, it still has not passed. I am sure it will come at the most unopportune time. Now I get to pee through this funnel/strainer and examine my urine and see if I can see the prize. Then I get to save it in a specimen cup. Oh what fun this is gonna be. I am certain though that whenever it does come to pass that it will be nothing like I expect and I will wonder how that little piece of whatever caused so much pain.

I was gonna blog about the basketball team, classic fun center, the Jazz, Barack Obama, but I will save that for later. Gotta go use my strainer;)
