So I lost a tooth. Yea, I know, I know. Believe me I know. I didn't smile for a week until we could mount it back up there. Here is the skinny; apparently when I was a kid I didn't lose a few teeth that I should have. Who knew? Not me. I found out a few years ago and just hoped that it wouldn't come to this. A few months ago doom set in when it got loose, and then about a week ago it fell out. I had to wait a few days cause I was so busy but then I went to my dentist--Dr. Garr--there is your plug. And he glued it back in. So now I am smiling again, trying to figure out what I do next. Aaaaahhhh. The thought of braces is so unappealing. I did tell a few students who replied that if I got braces I would be able to better sympathize with those that do. Alas, there is no good solution.
Porter thought it was cool as he is losing teeth almost every week and wondered how much I would get since I was a grown up. Actually it cost me a healthy co pay. Losing a tooth as a grown up has zero benefits.

Do you not have permanent teeth there? My brother and I had missing permanent teeth, but we both had braces when we were younger. My teeth all just got moved and reshaped to fill in the hole, my brother got a bridge. Good luck!
Apparently the permanent ones are there, up there still, just haven't decided to come down yet. I guess they will need some help to do so.
