This year was the year for the Kenningtons to get the church. I might add that this is perhaps the best place to have the dinner. In the gym we had all sorts of games, from pac-man, ping pong, basketball and so forth. Brannon brought his EMT stuff and you could go to him with a fake ailment. It was kinda fun, and I did get my blood pressure taken. There was plenty of food. I cooked nearly 20 pounds of potatoes for the feast. Let me tell ya that is quite the trick. Normally I would be licking my wounds and lying around the house after the turkey bowl, but I took a break this year since Janalynn is down and out. I can't even imagine how bad it would be if both of us were knocked out. The day was fun, the kids had a blast, but alas my favorite holiday was over.

Let me add that I love Thanksgiving, I love the fact you get to eat all day. Not just any food, but the best food. Everyone cooks their very best and you get stuffing, mashed potatoes, with awesome gravy, turkey, ham, rolls, yams, pumpkin pie, etc... Its just a great day. And as a guy you get to sit and eat and watch football and you're not expected to do anything. You get to lie around and eat and eat and watch football. What could be better?
