As you can tell from the title this has the chance of going all over the place. I think I need to start with Boise. New Years day came and went but this game started out the new year the right way. Wow, whatta game. Honestly I didn't watch a whole lot of the first half but the second half, primarily the fourth (due to getting the kids in bed) turned out to be wild.
I need to say that I am no fan of Boise State, I am also no fan of Oklahoma. Boise is close, Boise is from a smaller conference, and Boise was the underdog, so they got my support this game. I could rant about the BS I mean bcs, but I won't right now. I will just say I was hoping Boise would win.
For most of the game Boise led, then they fumbled and Oklahoma had a great drive and tied the game with three tries at the two point conversion. They kicked off and Zabranksky made probably the worst pass of his career at the worst possible time. He threw across his body to the other side of the field in the flat. Horrible. That led to a pick six with about a minute left. At this point I was thinking, "you've got to be kidding me, they've led the entire game only to lose in the last minute, how unjust, how lame. I was really getting emotional and kinda mad. But here is the point, this is where Boise came together, this is where the coaches and players got together and became a team of legend. This was crazier than a Hollywood ending. It was better too. But the thing I liked most is the team was prepared, the coaches were ready, and players executed to perfection, well on 4th down they did. Needless to say Boise gets sacked and then has an impossible 4th and 18 with around 30 secs to go and about 50 yards. I was hoping for a miracle just like everyone else, but to be honest I am not gonna call this a miracle. It was planned and executed to perfection. It was deliberate, like when your playing horse with the best shooter you know and you get like an insane HORS to H lead and you think you're gonna win, and then he shoots these unmakeable shots, makes them and leaves you thinking, "man I almost had him," when really you had no chance, he was just messing with ya. That's what the final plays were like. The better team had better plays and knew when to use them. They waited until they had to. Here is the play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJCRIAA1e8A
Overtime worried me. It really did. I have a theory that if you are tired or not as talented athletically, or the underdog, you should go for two. I can't tell you how excited I was when Boise's coach followed this logic and went for two instead of double overtime. Basically they were saying we're not even gonna let you get another chance, you had yours and you went for the tie, but we are going for the win. The other was that after witnessing the 4th and 18 I knew that Boise had a play that was going to work. You see there are very few sure things in sports. Michael Jordan was pretty close to a sure thing, a few others are close, but as far as football goes if you have a killer play that no one has seen, like Boise did, it will work. I had a good feeling that Boise had such a play, but had no idea it was as cool as it really was. I mean it has to be the best executed, well timed, smooth play ever run.

But this is by far the best thing I have found. I can only imagine that this all over the Boise boards. This poor Oklahoma fan must feel like a complete retard. I couldn't believe it when I found it, make sure you watch it. I think I might send it to Bill Simmons. The unintentional comedy is already high when this idiot comes up with the idea to youtube himself before the game, and then of course we know the outcome that makes it even better. Man I frickin hate Oklahoma. Make sure you watch the whole thing, it takes a few seconds to get going. Here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RzpPfjEBus&mode=related&search=
