Yeah I know I haven't written for two weeks. I had all that time off and didn't make a post. I was relaxing. I guess I need to be doing stuff to post. I will say one of my resolutions was to write a couple times/week. I was going to give a real in-depth look at 2006 from my eyes, but I decided not to, instead I will hit a few major events, good and bad.
Moving to Layton. Best thing we have done in years. It is fantastic up here for so many reasons. The neighborhood is wonderful, our immediate neighbors, Erin and Paul are great. I really don't know if you could beat our ward. Yeah we are further from most of our family, but this move will be much better for the kids.
Janalynn's break. This has been a very long healing process with the second surgery just a few weeks ago. I really hope I am not writing about this in next years review.
My dad's passing. This was a tough time of year. My dad would have loved the Boise State game last night, he would have loved the fact the Jazz are winning, he would have been here for Christmas. That has been real hard.
The trip to Pirates Cove that was the family outing highlight a few days after we sold our home. Thanks again Kenton. Whatta great place. New York was a real cool place as well. Red Sox vs. Yankees is as real as it gets.
Natalie entering kindergarten, Kelsey jr high, and Kailey a new school were real big events. The girls are making real good friends and fitting in. Just a few more years and Porter will be in elementary as well.
There are many other events, but those were the most memorable for good or bad. We'll see how 2007 goes, hopefully the best year yet.
