Meet and Greet

Back at the end of April I started this google group, "The Way I See It". I wanted to be able to communicate and discuss topics with my friends regardless of where they lived or how often we saw one another. I think in the beginning there were about ten or so people. Not everyone posts on every topic, but we have had a good time. We have added a few new friends now and finally decided to put a name to every face. We decided to have a bday party for me and get together.

We met at Jared Covili's home, thanks Tara, and Sandra supplied the main course--Sandra's world famous chicken. Dinner went swell and everyone go to meet everyone.

We had a festuvus miracle when we found out Jared and Sandra used to work together at Raging Waters. This actually was kinda humorous cause I could tell Jared couldn't really remember her, while Sandra seemed to recall more and more.

After much banter between Sandra and Jared at dinner it was decided to play Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture. Both had claimed that no one would play with them. We had a battle of the sexes thing going. It was a very even match, we had a few chances to win, but the girls won with an easy question about Spongebob of all things. Aaron's stock in trivial matters rose, but neither Sandra nor Jared established supremacy over one another let alone the entire group.

In all it was a good time, and I was most happy to be spending it with everyone there. And of course the Red Sox won.
