So Tuesday I went to Ben Garr--Ridgeview Dental, he is in our ward, to get a cleaning. I also wanted him to investigate this tooth I have had a problem with. Last year I got a filling but every time I eat something sweet it hurts. I really didn't want a root canal so I was hoping he could figure out what was wrong. Today he cleaned out the old filling and put in a new one. A few observations from the dental chair:
It is never good when you see smoke coming out of your mouth and smell something burning.
There is nothing like drooling all over cause you have no feeling in your lips or tongue.
Ben had tvs set up so you can watch while get your mouth worked on, it is pretty sweet, cause you can forget about the smoke and the sound of the drill. Tuesday it was October Sky, today it was Night at the Museum.
Hopefully this worked.
The rest of the day was rather uneventful. It rained and rained some more. Kelsey had her cast party from Pirates of Penzance. I realize I haven't mentioned anything about the show. We went a week ago, it was really well done, especially for a stake production. They had it at the Layton Ampitheater, near the library. The leads did real well. I had never seen the show before, it's pretty funny. Kelsey was a cop, kinda like keystone cops. It was a nice performance.
Looks like the Haroldsen's are passing on the Wright's home, but the Barkers have now become a player, it basically comes down to whether they can build a home on the horse property. If not I don't think they will, personally I don't know why they would. But if they can build on it, they will and we will be neighbors. So who knows what is gonna happen, all I can say is the Wrights owe me something for sending so many people their way.
