Today marks our 9th (can you believe it!?!?!?) anniversary. Has it really been that long? I was just a young pup, the Jazz were in the finals, I didn't have a job. It was my turn to plan it, so I thought we'd do a bed and breakfast. Armstrong Mansion won the Citysearch Best of Utah B&B awards so I figured that would work. We stayed in the November Room. They have a room for each month of the year. Overall it was pretty standard, nothing real special. I mean the room was nice but nothing out of this world, it was relaxing. After getting a tip from Nathan Wright we ended up going to Al Forno's a quaint little Italian place that was actually just a few streets away. It was decent food, okay price, but real nice atmosphere for being in a place you wouldn't expect. Went back to the room and watched, well I slept through Music and Lyrics and then woke up to a great breakfast. I mean it was real good. It was all homemade, and it was a buffet, definitely the best breakfast we have had at one of these. In all it was a nice relaxing time where we were able to spend some good quality time with each other and celebrate another year together.
