Porter's Room

Just like the other kids on their birthdays Porter got his room painted. The nice thing here is that we matched his bedding to the paint. In the case of the girls they got new bedding and a new paint job. But the Spiderman, Batman, and sports stuff all have the same colors. I had been pushing for a superhero room, but Janalynn told me that would be my room, not his. She could be right, but Porter would have been happy with it. He even got to have the Jazz Finals Ball and Bryon Russell's shoes in his room.

I was not too sure what I thought about having a soccer ball in the picture. I don't know if I want him to think that playing soccer is acceptable behavior. In the end I decided it was allright. I played soccer when I was I kid, then I grew out of it. I think this would have been my dream room when I was growing up, much better than the room I had when I was a kid.
