My uncle Bill gave me a great hook up. An all day pass to Park City Ski Resort. Now I am not much of a skier having only learned a few years ago, but I have been wanting to go all year.
Here are my observations:
Great day for skiing weather was great. Just enough sun.
Regretted wearing a long sleeve shirt over my t shirt and underneath my coat.
Was impressed with all the lifts, one to another, to another.
I need another lesson.
Wish I had learned as a kid, I would be much more fearless, although as I type this being fearful is not such a bad quality.
Took me a while to get my mojo going, but once I did I had a great time
Got outdone by a couple of retirees, but didn't feel too bad about it
I am out of ski shape, thighs were like jello by the end.
Six person lift was cool.
Glad I brought a lunch, prices were more than disneyland, 11 for a burger, 10 for a bratwurst. I could never justify that price. I would feel sick eating it.
Day on the slopes without a major crash--about as good as it gets
