1/31 Every day posting month of Jan

January is the month you can change. The onset of the new year means you can make changes in your life for the better. You can be the person you have always wanted to be. This is the thinking behind resolutions. I decided at the new year that I needed to make a few changes. Blogging more often was one of them. I have to say that I have impressed even myself by having an entry for each day of the month. Who knows what Feb will bring?

Observations of my goals so far.
Getting to bed earlier has been good, getting up early still a struggle.
Daily scripture reading makes me a much better person.
Reading has been real good for me. I read roughly 1500 pages this month in novels and 50+ chapters of scriptures.
Getting back into shape sucks big time. Why did I ever stop?
Have a set time for home teaching and temple going, already on the calendar for each month.
Still making improvements in many areas of life. Life is a work in progress.
Reading to my kids at night has been a nice way to wind down. Natalie read to me tonight, that was nice.
Have yet to feel like I fulfilled a full on Carpe Diem day, but the thought is in my head.
Realize I get a lot more done and feel so much better when I have a plan--and then do it. I know I can do all my goals, just sometimes run out of time, or pick other things to do instead.
