Nothing made me happier today then when at dinner Natalie prayed for the people of Haiti, supplicating the Lord to help the people out. Porter then echoed her sentiments in his bedtime prayer as Natalie reiterated her earlier pleas in her as well. They are unsure of what all this means and who or where these people live, but they know it is important.
In my geography class we learned about what is going on in the country and they need all the help they can get and then some. The First Presidency came out with a statement that was read in our sacrament meeting as well I'm sure as others to pray for Haiti, its people, and calm and peace. I have to admit I was a proud parent when my kids did this, not fully comprehending the complete situation, just knowing these people are in need.
