Sherlock Holmes

Review: Had middling expectations that were met, but not exceeded. Would give three out of five stars. Here are my thoughts, thought Downey was okay, but ultimately miscast as Holmes. At times he was hard to hear and seemed to play Tony Stark all over again. Plus wasn't as thrilled with the overall portrayal of Sherlock. But overall the acting was good. As was the script, just hard to decipher in parts. My three keys to a film are acting, script, and plot. This is where this fell down a bit. Most shows are some form of good vs. evil. However, most detective shows give the audience some clues. Now I guess you could say this one did, but they were meaningless clues to the viewer, only to Holmes. By biggest problem with the show was that while Holmes puts it all together the viewer has no clue, literally, until he explains it all. Would have liked a few more hints thrown my way. Fun show, worth a watch, but it can wait for redbox.
