There is a Krispy Kreme not too far from our house that Porter wants to go to everytime we pass it. Let me explain a little. The red light or 'hot' light means that there are hot donuts, it also means if you come in you get a free one. For the past year when the light is red I usually stop. Porter has been with me many times on these occasions. Of course he thinks that anytime we pass by it means we need to stop and get a donut. I don't really want to pay for one when I can get a free one, so I have told him that if the light isn't on they are closed. Now he just looks for the light (although he is smart enough that a few times he has said 'I think they are open' as we have driven by and the light is not on. He would be correct, but I just tell him that they are closed for a while) I will say that he does love his donuts.
Had to get a new camera. The one I picked up Saturday had problems recharging the battery, it was supposed to work like an ipod. I upgraded a bit and got one with disposable batteries a Canon Powershot with 6x zoom and 8 mp. It is really nice. I can't believe it actually costs less than what we paid for the dinosaur of a camera we have used the last 6 years. I also can't believe I waited so long to get a new one. So yes the pics are taken with the new cam.
